Muskingum Volleyball ranked 14th in final AVCA Top 25 Poll of the 2019 season
November 26, 2019The Muskingum volleyball team was ranked 14th in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 Poll of the year. The Muskies were ranked as high as 11th this season. The AVCA Division III Top 25 Poll is selected by Division III head coaches representing the eight NCAA regions.

Fatheree, Dickson, and McGee were named AVCA Division III Honorable Mention All-Americans
November 19, 2019Muskingum volleyball juniors Brooke Fatheree, Erin Dickson, and Maddie McGee were named American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Honorable Mention All-Americans. The outstanding play of Fatheree, Dickson, and McGee guided the 14th-ranked Muskingum volleyball team to a 27-4 overall record, their best campaign since 1999, and a share of the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular-Season Championship for the first time since 1999. The trio also helped the Muskies clinch their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament and the teams first NCAA Tournament match triumph since 1999.

November 14, 2019Muskingum volleyball juniors Brooke Fatheree, Erin Dickson, and Maddie McGee were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division lll Great Lakes All-Region Team. The exceptional play of Fatheree, Dickson, and McGee directed the 14th-ranked Muskies to a 26-3 overall record, an 8-1 mark in the OAC, and a share of the OAC regular season-championship for the first time since 1999. The trio also helped guide the Muskies to their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division lll Volleyball Tournament and their first appearance since 2008.

November 13, 2019The 14th-ranked Muskingum volleyball team received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament on Monday. The Muskies team will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan Regional, to play the Wittenberg Tigers on Thursday, November 14. Start time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. The contest will feature live stats and video at fightingmuskies.com. The winner of the match will advance to the semifinals of the regional on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and face the winner of the Hope/Texas-Dallas match.

October 29, 2019The 15th-ranked volleyball team crushed the Marietta Pioneers on Tuesday, 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-11). Muskingum will enter the final Saturday of the regular season tied for first place in the Ohio Athletic Conference with Ohio Northern. The Muskies play at Heidelberg, while the Polar Bears host Mount Union. A victory by Muskingum against Heidelberg would give the Muskies a share of the OAC Regular Season championship or an outright championship with an ONU loss.
