Fatheree, Dickson, McGee, and Guist receive All-OAC accolades

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum volleyball juniors Brooke Fatheree and Erin Dickson First Team All-OAC, while junior Maddie McGee received Second Team All-OAC accolades. Junior Brynn Guist was named Honorable Mention All-OAC. The outstanding play of Fatheree, Dickson, McGee, and Guist helped lead 11th-ranked Muskingum to a 26-3 overall record and to an 8-1 mark in the OAC and to a share of the OAC regular-season championship for the first time since 1999.

Fatheree recorded a team-best 330 kills this season. She finished the season second on the team in digs with 390 (3.82 digs per set) and first on the team in points with 377.5 (3.7 points per set). She ranked fifth in the OAC in kills and third in the OAC in kills per set. This season, Fatheree registered her 1,000th career dig, 1000th career kill, and moved to fifth all-time in career kills with a total of 1,081. Fatheree was also named the OAC Volleyball Player of the Week twice this season. Through her three years for the Muskies, Fatheree has recorded 1,137 digs, 116 total blocks, and 78 service aces. This marks the third straight year that Fatheree has earned All-OAC accolades (2017 Honorable Mention, 2018 First Team, 2019 First Team).

Dickson secured a team-high 901 assists, averaging 9.39 assists per set. She logged 120 kills, 198 digs, and 52 blocks. Dickson ranked fourth in the OAC in assists and fifth in the conference in assists per set. This season, Dickson moved to fourth all-time in career assists at Muskingum with a total of 2,870. Throughout her three years for the Muskies, Dickson has registered 255 kills, 57 service aces, and 106 total blocks. This is the second consecutive year that Dickson has garnered All-OAC honors (2018 Second Team, 2019 First Team).

McGee finished the season second on the team in kills with 293 in 94 sets played, ranking fifth in the league with 3.12 kills per set. McGee also registered 55 digs and tallied 39 total blocks.

Guist registered 247 kills this season, finishing third on the team in kills and kills per set. She recorded a team-high 76 blocks, 20 service aces, and 106 digs. Guist ranked fifth in the OAC in blocks per set with 0.78. This marks the second straight season that Guist has earned Honorable Mention All-OAC accolades.
