Ousley and Dickson honored with the Donna J. Newberry Pursuit of Perfection Award

Senior football defensive lineman Tim Ousley and junior setter Erin Dickson were honored with the Donna J. Newberry Pursuit of Perfection Award.

Ousley, a First-Team All-OAC honoree and AFCA Division III First-Team-All American, led the Muskies with career-best tackles (80) and sacks (10). He finished the season with 14.5 tackles for a loss of 67 yards, forced one fumble, grabbed two fumble recoveries, and notched four pass break-ups. Ousley currently ranks first all-time at Muskingum in career sacks (28) and eighth all-time in career tackles (263). He was named the Paul Hoernemann Award winner for his phenomenal performance as the Ohio Athletic Conference's top defensive lineman. He was also named D3football.com First-Team All-North Region and coined a D3football.com Honorable Mention All-American.

Dickson, a First Team All-OAC honoree and AVCA Division III Honorable Mention All-American, guided the Muskies to a share of the OAC Regular-Season Championship for the first time since 1999 and their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division lll Volleyball Tournament. She directed the Muskie offense onslaught with a team-best 979 assists, averaging 9.32 assists per set. Dickson also tallied 84 kills, 220 digs, and 26 total blocks this year. This season, Dickson moved to fourth all-time in career assists with a total of 2,948 (averaging 9.57 assists per set). Dickson was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Great Lakes All-Region team.
