Fatheree, Dickson, and McGee were named to the AVCA Division III Great Lakes All-Region Team

Muskingum volleyball juniors Brooke Fatheree, Erin Dickson, and Maddie McGee were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division lll Great Lakes All-Region Team. The exceptional play of Fatheree, Dickson, and McGee directed the 14th-ranked Muskies to a 26-3 overall record, an 8-1 mark in the OAC, and a share of the OAC regular-season championship for the first time since 1999. The trio also helped guide the Muskies to their 10th appearance in the NCAA Division lll Volleyball Tournament and their first appearance since 2008. 

Fatheree, a First Team All-OAC honoree, guides the Muskies with a team-best 330 kills on the year, averaging 3.24 kills per set. She is second on the team in digs with 390 (3.82 digs per set) and first on the team in points with 377.5 (3.7 points per set). Fatheree is ranked fifth in the conference in kills and third in the league in kills per set. This season, Fatheree recorded her 1,000th career dig, 1000th career kills, and moved to fifth all-time in career kills with 1,081. Fatheree was named the Volleyball Player of the week twice this season. Throughout her three years for the Muskies, Fatheree has registered 1,137 digs, 116 total blocks, and 78 service aces.

Dickson, a First Team All-OAC award winner, directs the Muskies with a team-high 901 assists, ranking fourth in the conference with 9.39 assists per set. Dickson has locked in 72 kills, 199 digs, and 23 total blocks this season. This year, Dickson moved to fourth all-time in career assists at Muskingum with a total of 2,870. Throughout her three years, Dickson has amassed 255 kills, 57 service aces, and 106 total blocks.

McGee, a Second-Team All-OAC honoree, is second on the team with 293 kills in 94 sets played, ranking fifth in the league with 3.12 kills per set. McGee has also tallied 55 digs and locked in 39 total blocks.

The Muskies will travel to the Grand Rapids, Michigan Regional, and play Wittenberg on Thursday, November 14. Game time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. The winner of the match will advance to the semifinals of the regional on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and face the winner of the Hope/Texas-Dallas match.
