Muskingum University Athletics has agreed to a new exclusive sports medicine partnership with Genesis HealthCare System, Vice President and Athletic Director Steve Brockelbank announced on Friday. As part of the multi-year partnership, Genesis HealthCare System will provide Muskingum student-athletes with exceptional sports medicine and access to first-rate, comprehensive health care services, and professionals.

A team of experienced, expert orthopedic physicians, practitioners, and other specialists will support Muskingum student-athletes.

"We are thrilled to welcome Genesis HealthCare System as our new sports medicine partner," said Brockelbank. "This partnership will provide our Muskie student-athletes with outstanding medical care and enhance the quality of services that we are able to provide to them."

Muskingum, a member of the NCAA Division III, sponsors 24 varsity sports and competes in the prestigious Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC). Throughout its proud and rich athletic history, Muskingum has won 59 OAC Championships, 30 OAC Tournament Championships, and one National Championship. Furthermore, Muskingum has had 106 student-athletes honored with All-American accolades and 50 student-athletes recognized with Academic All-American honors.
