The Muskingum baseball team powered past Bethany on Thursday afternoon, 14-1.

  • The Muskies recorded 29 at bats, 14 runs, 13 hits, 11 RBIs, and were walked eight times.
  • Senior Wyatt Reeder led the Muskies with three hits, two RBIs, one run, and three stolen bases.
  • Junior Tobie Teke helped fuel the offense as he went 3-for-3 with two runs, and two stolen bases.
  • Freshman Aiden Reis aided the Muskie offense with three runs, two RBIs, a double, and a stolen base.
  • Freshman Conner Thamann went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
  • Freshman Grant Mellerson posted two RBIs, a triple, two stolen bases, and a run.
  • Freshman Benny Hess tallied two runs, one hit, and was walked twice.

  • Sophomore Louie Hess and senior Ryan Schwartz each scored a run. Schwartz added a stolen base.
  • Junio Travis Reynolds went 1-for-1 with an RBI triple.
  • Freshman Weston Hartman earned the win on the mound for the Muskies. Hartman retired five batters by strikeouts.
  • Sophomore Dane Sparks and senior Gino Barber each pitched an inning. Both Sparks and Barber each posted two strikeouts.
