Meade and Ousley honored with Outstanding Senior Athlete Awards

Senior softball infielder Jaelyn Meade was recognized as the Barbara Steiner Outstanding Senior Female Athlete, while senior football defensive end Tim Ousley was acknowledged as the William G. Moore Outstanding Senior Male Athlete. 

Meade, a three-year starter and two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, helped lead the Muskies to the 2019 OAC Regular Season championship. She was an NFCA All-Region selection and ended her tenure batting .358 with 65 RBIs, 59 runs scored, 19 doubles, 13 home runs, and six triples.  Meade also carried a .639 slugging percentage and .442 on-base percentage. 

Ousley played in all 10 games for the Muskies and recorded a sensational senior season. He led the team in total tackles with 80, registered a career-high 10 sacks for 60 yards, had 14.5 tackles for loss for 67 yards, forced two fumbles while recovering one, and also notched four pass break-ups. Ousley ended his tenure with Muskies ranking first all-time in sacks with 28 and ranks eighth all-time in career tackles with 263. He was named First-Team All-OAC while being recognized with the Paul Hoernemann Award as the top defensive lineman in the Ohio Athletic Conference. He was also named First-Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Second-Team All-American by the Associated Press, named D3football.com First-Team All-North Region, and D3football.com Honorable Mention All-American.
