The Muskingum women's lacrosse team dropped a heartbreaker in the final seconds at Washington and Jefferson on Wednesday evening, 7-6.

- Trailing 4-1 in the first half, Muskingum used a three-goal outburst over a five-minute span to tie the contest at 4-4.
- Washington and Jefferson netted a goal with 7 seconds remaining to regain the lead at the break, 5-4.
- The Muskies came out firing in the second half as junior Ashley Adams scored back-to-back goals giving Muskingum its first lead of the contest, 6-5.
