Hawvermale wins the Individual Women’s Barebow National Championship

Muskingum Archery Freshman Kelly Hawvermale has been crowned the national champion in the Individual Women's Barebow category with a score of 364, making her the first Muskie in program history to achieve a national championship.

In addition to her individual success, Hawvermale played a key role in helping the women's barebow team secure a fourth-place finish and contributed to the mixed barebow team's sixth-place finish. She also helped the Mixed Equipment team achieve an eighth-place finish, the best in program history.

Hawvermale's recent success also includes her winning the Regional Championship as an individual in Illinois. At the regional tournament, she posted the highest individual score among female and male barebow competitors, with an impressive 278 out of 300. In addition to her individual victory, Hawvermale also placed first with the female barebow team and first with the barebow mixed team.
