Freshman Hannah Metzger led the Muskies with a first-place finish, clocking a time of 21:19.0 at the Muskie Opener on Friday afternoon.

The Course

• Muskingum hosted the meet at Moorehead Farm.
• The event was a 5K race.
• The Muskies tallied a total of 15 points to finish first in the Muskie Opener.

How it Happened

• Freshman Hannah Metzger cruised through the finish line to earn first place with a time of 21:19.0.
• Junior Rosemary Stephens posted a time of 21:53.0, placing third.
• Junior Abigail Derry achieved sixth place with a time of 22:22.0.
• Freshman Sarah Lute earned eighth place with a time of 23:01.0.
• Sophomore Averi Schwendeman finished with a time of 23:12.0, placing ninth.
