McAdams leads Women’s Cross Country at All-Ohio Championships

Graduate senior Macy McAdams finished in fifth place out of the 136-runner field to earn All-Ohio honors and pace the Muskies at the All-Ohio Championships.

The Course

  • Cedarville hosted the meet at the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
  • The event was a 5K race.
  • The Muskies tallied a total of 238 points to finish ninth.
  • John Carroll claimed the team title with a score of 34.

How it Happened

  • McAdams finished fifth among Division III runners and 33rd across all divisions to earn All-Ohio honors. McAdams ran an 18:51.9 5K time.
  • Freshman Rosemary Stephens turned in a solid time of 20:39.9 to finish 42nd, while freshman Rylee Bollenbacher recorded a time of 22:03.3 for 81st place.
  • Freshman Alyssa Heinrichs turned in a 22:15.5 for 86th, while freshman Abigail Derry notched a 22:35.4 for 91st.
  • Freshman Taylor Metz finished with a 22:47.0, while freshman Jillian Ayres rounded out the Muskie runners with a 24:58.8.

  • The Muskies will be back in action on Saturday, October 1, when they host the Muskingum Invitational. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Moorehead Farm.
