Volleyball spikes Adrian at BW tri-match

The Muskingum volleyball team traveled to Berea to play a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The Muskies defeated Adrian in game one 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-19). Game two, the Muskies matched up against Baldwin Wallace and fell 3-0 (25-21, 25-11, 25-18).

  • Junior Josie Niemeyer and Freshman Brooklyn Heller each led the Muskies with nine kills. Niemeyer added two assists and three digs, while Heller posted six digs.
  • Sophomore Mackenzie Krous and sophomore Sophia Keller each spiked seven kills. Krous added 15 digs defensively.
  • Sophomore Alexis Bradley and sophomore Ella Jefferis each showed off their setting skills, Bradley posted 16 assists, while Jefferis logged 19 assists.
  • Defensively sophomore Katharine Clayton and sophomore Cierra Lathrop were locked down, as Clayton racked up 16 digs and Lathrop totaled 12.
  • Junior Emma Johnson added three kills and two digs.
  • Muskingum ended the match with 41 kills, 39 assists, and 67 digs.
  • Amber Morris led Adrian with nine kills.
  • Chloe Kiser paced the Bulldogs with 11 assists.

  • Krous led the Muskies attack with 13 kills. She also recorded three digs and an assist.
  • Niemeyer added five kills, three digs and a block.
  • Bradley ended up with 10 assists to lead Muskingum. She also added four digs.
  • Johnson and Heller each totaled four kills. Johnson also added three digs, while Heller recorded two.
  • Muskingum logged 28 kills, 26 assists, and 39 digs as a team.
  • Brinn MacLellan led Baldwin Wallace with 11 kills.
  • Katarina Blazetic had 40 assists for the Yellow Jackets.
