Four Volleyball Student-Athletes named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Four Muskingum Volleyball athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for their outstanding performance both on the court and in the classroom this year. Senior Emma Conrad, senior Emma Dunham, junior Raegan Flood, and junior Lexie Huck have all been honored for their academic excellence.

Conrad, a psychology major and captain for Muskingum, capped off her Muskie career with an All-OAC First Team nomination this season. Conrad tallied multiple career-highs this year including assists (859), digs (309), kills (115), blocks (47), and service aces (32). Conrad finishes her Muskie career with 1,763 assists, which ranks seventh all-time in program history, and she was also named to the OAC All-Tournament team this season for her play during Muskingum's tournament run.

Dunham, a Business Management and Marketing major, was a consistent presence in Muskingum's front line all season. Dunham enjoyed a career-high in kills with 203, and she also tallied 62 blocks, 44 digs, and finished with a .327 hitting percentage this year. Earlier this season, Dunham was named the OAC Offensive Player of the Week as well.

Flood, a Middle Childhood Education major and captain for Muskingum, tallied 115 kills, 90 digs, 63 blocks, and 17 services aces this season for the Muskies.

Huck, an Accounting major and captain for Muskingum, registered a career-high 217 kills this season. She also tallied 137 digs, 29 blocks, 20 assists, and 11 service aces as well.

All four Muskies were an integral part of Muskingum's success this season, which saw the program reach their fifth straight OAC Tournament semi-final appearance. Muskingum finished the year with an 18-8 overall record, the program's ninth straight winning season. The Muskies were also recognized at the national level this year, recieving votes for three straight weeks in the AVCA Division III Top-25 Poll.

As a result of their All-District nominations, all four Muskies will move on to the CSC Academic All-America Ballot. The Academic All-America Team will be announced in December.
