The Muskingum volleyball team finished 4-0 at the Mount Union Invitational after two straight-set wins on Saturday.
Notables
- Senior Emma Conrad was named the Most Valuable Player of the Mount Union Invitational for her stellar play in Muskingum's four games.
- Junior Khloe Taylor was also named to the All-Tournamnent team for her exceptional play in Muskingum's undefeated weekend.
Game 1
The Basics
- Records: Muskingum (6-0 Overall), Allegheny (3-5 Overall)
- Location: McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex – Alliance, Ohio
How it Happened
- The opening frame saw both teams battle evenly. However, Muskingum was able to use clutch plays to claim the 25-23 win.
- Set two saw much of the same back-and-forth play that the opening frame featured. The Muskies claimed the set 25-22, taking a commanding 2-0 lead into the third frame.
- Riding their momentum, the Muskies dominated Allegheny, winning the third set 25-12.

- Location: McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex – Alliance, Ohio
How it Happened
- Muskingum opened the game in dominating fashion, claiming the first set 25-16 to take the early advantage.
- Muskingum claimed the second set 25-21, taking a decisive 2-0 lead in the match.
- The Muskies claimed the straight-set win, grabbing the third set 25-13 to down Westminster.
