The Muskingum volleyball team hammered Capital 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-10) in Ohio Athletic Conference action on Tuesday night. With the win, the Muskies improve to 14-6 overall and 1-1 in the OAC.
Up at the Net
- Sophomore Taylour Fatheree led the Muskie offense at the net with eight kills and two blocks.
- Freshman Ashley Reynolds added seven kills.
- Capital was led by Kristin Bender with eight kills.
Assisting the Attack
- The Muskingum attack was guided by sophomore Taylor Mathews with 24 assists.
- The Crusaders were led by Katie Weilbacher with nine assists.
Defending the Court
- Sophomore Deidre Prince protected the back row for the Muskies with 19 digs.
- Mathews logged 12 digs.
- Kristen Nickles of Capital recorded 11 digs.
