The Muskingum volleyball team spiked Franciscan in its home opener in the Recreation Center on Wednesday night. The Muskies won 25-15, 25-12, 25-20.
The Basics

Up at the Net
- The Muskies were led by senior Brooke Scott with 13 kills.
- Freshman Ashley Reynolds added 11 kills.
- Sophomore Taylour Fatheree logged six kills and three blocks.
- Franciscan was led by Dani Link with eight kills.
Assisting the Attack
- Sophomores Taylor Mathews and Laura Hill guided the Muskingum offense with 24 and nine assists, respectively.
- Franciscan's Becca Haven recorded nine assists.
Defending the Court
- Sophomore Deidre Prince and Reynolds shared the spotlight, each having 15 digs.
- Mathews also added to the books with 14 digs.
- Haven, of Franciscan, logged 22 digs.
Inside The Boxscore
- As a team, Muskingum recorded 42 kills, 77 digs, and 8 blocks.
- The straight-set win was the third of the young season for the Muskies.
