The Muskingum volleyball team lost at Ohio Athletic Conference foe John Carroll on Friday night, 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 21-25, 7-25).

The Muskies stand at 10-12 overall and 1-4 in the league. Muskingum next hosts nationally-ranked Mount Union on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m.

Senior Hanna Rose, freshman Katie Hunt and sophomore Brooke Scott led the Muskie net attack with eight kills each. Rose also added 13 digs, while Hunt added three blocks and Scott logged two blocks.

Freshman Kaleigh Hendrix directed the attack with 16 assists. Junior Alexa Abrams registered 11 assists, 18 digs and five spikes to aid the Muskie effort.

Senior Kim Seitter led the defensive charge with a game-best 32 digs.

John Carroll (15-8, 3-2) was paced by Sarah Orlandi's game-best 15 kills. Sara Kiminski added 30 digs and Kit O'Shaughnessy had 33 assists for the Blue Streaks.
