Volleyball stumbles against Denison

The Muskingum University volleyball team stumbled at home on Thursday night against Denison University, 3-1 (25-11, 20-25, 25-20, 25-22).

With the loss, Muskingum stands at 10-10 overall. The Muskies next host Ohio Athletic Conference rival Marietta College on Tuesday, October 15. Match time is slated for 7:00 p.m.

Sophomore Brooke Scott led the Muskie attack with 13 kills. She ended the outing with an outstanding .429 hitting percentage. 

Senior Hanna Rose and junior Alexa Abrams each added nine spikes to aid the front line. Rose alslo registered 14 digs, while Abrams had 18 assists.

Frershman Kaleigh Hendrix directed the attack with 22 assists. Senior Kim Seitter paced the defensive effort with 25 digs and sophomore Lane Browning recorded 12 digs.

Denison (15-5) was paced by Brittany Perry who had a game-high 14 kills. Jessica Borsani added 41 assists, while Emily Marguerite chipped in 24 digs.
