The Muskingum volleyball team lost its Ohio Athletic Conference opener at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday, 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 25-21).

Muskingum sophomore Brooke Scott led the Muskies with 12 kills. Junior Alexa Abrams added 11 spikes

Freshman Katie Hunt logged six kills and three blocks to aid the Muskie net attack. Muskingum ended the game with 42 kills and a .190 hitting percentage.

Senior Kim Seitter controlled the back row with 23 digs, while freshman Emily Hendrix directed the attack with 19 assists.

With the loss, Muskingum moves to 9-8 overall and 0-1 in the league. The Muskies take the court again at Wilmington College on Saturday, October 5. Game time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
