Women's Outdoor Track & Field place fifth at the OAC Opener

The Musingum women's outdoor track & field team placed firth at the Ohio Athletic Conference Opener on Sunday, March 21.

The Basics

On The Track

  • The 4x400 meter relay team junior Spencer Neville, junior Mikayla Deiotte, sophomore Kelsey Saxton, and sophomore Miranda Houshel earned second with a time of 4:45.58.
  • The 4x100 meter relay squad of Saxton, Neville, junior Macey Mills, and sophomore Emily Fieseler secured third with a time of 56.06.
  • Mills notched third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.49, while Houshel finished behind her in fourth with a time of 18.64. Saxton placed fifth with a mark of 19.61.
  • Neville locked up fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:14.06 and Houshel placed behind her in fifth with a time of 1:23.54. Saxton logged a time of 1:26.54 to finish sixth.
  • Fieseler grabbed eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.17.

In The Field

  • Neville led the Muskies with a third place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.50 meters.
  • Mills logged a distance of 4.56 meters in the long jump to give her sixth.
  • Jace Wigal placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 10.81 meters.
  • Deiotte finished fifth in the javelin throw with distance of 27.05 meters. Sophomore Lexi Hall placed seventh with a mark of 24.73, while sophomore Carole Bruder finished behind her in eighth with score of 16.98 meters.
