Muskingum's Julie Fobes and Emily Ellyson paced the Muskie women's track & field team at the Muskie Duals on Saturday. The Muskies finished with a 7-1 record in the dual-format scoring.
Fobes took first in the 1,500 with a time of 4:52.09 and third in the 800 with a time of 2:29.73. Ellyson finished first in the high jump with a leap of 4-11.75 and took second in the 100 with a time of 17.57.
Hannah Gregory placed second in the 3K steeplechase with a time of 13:20.73 and Hannah Doore took third in the 100 with a time if 19:78.
Abby Rose placed third in the hammer throw with a toss of 118-9 and fourth in the discus with a mark of 95-2.
Kimberly Taylor rounded out the strong Muskie showing with a second-place finish in the high jump with a leap of 4-9.75.
The event featured Muskingum, St. Vincent, Shawnee State, Washington & Jefferson, Wittenberg, Point Park, Ohio Northern and John Carroll.
Muskingum next hosts the Amy Adams Memorial on Friday, March 24 and Saturday, March 25.
