Women’s Indoor Track and Field places fourth at Bob Shannon Invitational

The Muskingum women's indoor track and field team placed fourth overall at the Bob Shannon Invitational on Saturday.

The Basics

  • Location: Mitchell Fieldhouse – Granville, Ohio
  • Muskingum finished in fourth with a total of 68 points.
  • Case Western won the team title, racking up an overall total of 119.

On the Track

In the Field

  • In the high jump, sophomore Marissa Hill placed second with a mark of 1.48 meters.
  • Junior Savannah Strawmyer finished fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 2.75 meters.
  • In the shot put, sophomore Jessica Dotson finished with a mark of 11.37 meters putting her in fifth place and freshman Kendra Monnin-Lee hit a mark of 10.75 meters to finish seventh.
  • Junior Avrie O'Neil finished seventh in the weight throw with a mark of 14.03 meters.
  • Senior Jacquelynn Grinnell placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.06 meters.

  • Muskingum next competes at the All-Ohio Invitational on Saturday, February 15. The event is hosted by Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.
