The Muskingum women's indoor track and field team placed fourth overall at the Bob Shannon Invitational on Saturday.
The Basics
- Location: Mitchell Fieldhouse – Granville, Ohio
- Muskingum finished in fourth with a total of 68 points.
- Case Western won the team title, racking up an overall total of 119.
On the Track
- In the 5000 meters, freshman Hannah Metzger finished in first place with a time of 19:57.75.
- The 4x200 meter team of freshman Mea Kaufman, junior Teasia Jones, junior Jesikah Samuel, and junior Averi Wallace finished in second with a time of 1:50.31.
- Junior Abigail Derry finished in third place in the one mile with a time of 5:23.58.
- In the 400 meters, Junior Averi Wallace had a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:02.61.
- Junior Jesikah Samuel finished seventh overall in the 60 meters with a time of 8.22.
- The 4x400 meter team comprised of freshman's Mea Kaufman and Lydia Black, and junior's Abigail Derry and Averi Wallace placed fourth with a time of 4:17.23.
- The distance medley team of junior Rosemary Stephens, freshman Lydia Black, freshman Maura Seibert, and junior Abigail Derry finished in third with a time of 14:43.00
In the Field
- In the high jump, sophomore Marissa Hill placed second with a mark of 1.48 meters.
- Junior Savannah Strawmyer finished fourth in the pole vault with a mark of 2.75 meters.
- In the shot put, sophomore Jessica Dotson finished with a mark of 11.37 meters putting her in fifth place and freshman Kendra Monnin-Lee hit a mark of 10.75 meters to finish seventh.
- Junior Avrie O'Neil finished seventh in the weight throw with a mark of 14.03 meters.
- Senior Jacquelynn Grinnell placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 9.06 meters.

- Muskingum next competes at the All-Ohio Invitational on Saturday, February 15. The event is hosted by Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.
