The Muskingum women's indoor track & field team hosted the Muskie Meet #3 in the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex. The Muskies placed fourth with a score of 66 points.
The Basics
- Location: BHWC - New Concord, Ohio
- Event: Muskie Meet #3 - Third home event for the Muskies this season.
- Info: As a team, the Muskies finished with 66 points and ended the event in fourth place.
On the Track
- Freshman Mea Kaufman finished in third place in the 400 meter with a time of 1:03.00.
- In the 60 meter dash junior Jesikah Samuel snagged a fourth place finish with a time of 8.46, Kaufman snagged fifth with a time of 8.46, and junior Averi Wallace finished in seventh with a time of 8.50.
- In the 200 meter event junior Teasia Jones finished fifth with a time of 28.17 and Wallace finished sixth with a time of 28.18.
- In the 60 meter hurdles junior Kilikina Schultz finished sixth with a time of 10:70 and junior Savannah Strawmyer finished seventh with a time of 11.35.
- Freshman Julia Maynard logged a seventh place finish in the 1000 meters with a time of 3:43.51.
On the Field
- Sophomore Jessica Dotson secured second in the shot put event with a mark of 12.27 meters.
- Junior Amber Corll finished fourth in the weight throw event with a mark of 14.00 meters.
- Also in the weight throw event, junior Kylie Andres finished in seventh with a mark of 13.71 meters and junior Avrie O'Neil placed eighth with a mark of 12.96 meters.
- Freshman Haylee Burris secured a fourth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.45 meters.
- Also in the high jump event, sophomore Marissa Hill placed fifth with a mark of 1.40 meters and freshman Maura Seibert finished in seventh with a mark of 1.30 meters
- Junior Teasia Jones finished in fifth for the Muskies in the long jump event with a mark of 4.60 meters.
- Junior Savannah Strawmyer logged a seventh place finish after hitting a mark of 2.80 meters in the pole vault event.
Up Next
- The Muskies will be back in action on Saturday, February 8 when they compete in the Bob Shannon Invitational. The event is hosted by Denison University and is set to take place inside the Mitchell Fieldhouse in Granville, Ohio.
