Graduate senior Macy Mcadams secured a first-place finish and set a new school record in the 3,000-meter run to lead the Muskingum women's indoor track and field team at the All-Ohio meet on Saturday.
The Basics
- Location: The Steemer – Springfield, Ohio
- Muskingum finished ninth out of a 13-team field.
- The Muskies finished with a total of 25.5 points.
- Mount Union won the team title with an overall score of 145.5.
Notables
- Graduate senior Macy McAdams set a school record for the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:11:01 to secure first place and collect All-Ohio accolades.
- McAdams tops her previous record set in 2021 which was a time of 10:18:11.
On the Track
- The 4x200-meter relay team of freshman Averi Wallace, freshman Kilikina Schultz, sophomore Jacquelyn Grinnell, and senior Emily Fieseler finished tied for fourth with a time of 1:50.9.
- Averi Wallace ran a time of 1:01.19 to finish six in the 400-meter dash.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Averi Wallace, freshman Abigail Derry, freshman Rylee Bollenbacher, and freshman Kilikina Schultz placed sixth with a time of 4:20.13.
On the Field
- In the Triple Jump, Jacquelynn Grinnell leaped a mark of 9.54 meters to finish seventh.

Muskingum will be back in action on Friday, February 17, for its Faculty/Staff appreciation meet at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex where they will host their fourth Muskingum meet. The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
