Senior Julie Fobes set a new school and meet record in the 5,000-meter run to the lead women's indoor track and field team at the Bob Shannon Invitational.

The Basics

• Location: Granville, Ohio - Denison University 

On the Track

• Fobes placed first in the 5,000-meter run setting a new school and meet record with a time of 18:24.74. The senior broke the previous school record of 18:31.41 set in 1992 and the meet record of 19:04.48.
• Sophomore Hailey Ferguson claimed a fifth place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.26.

In the Field

• In the high jump, freshman Emily Ellyson finished third with a height of 1.60 meters.
• Sophomore Reannah Martin finished seventh in the pole vault clearing a height of 2.96 meters.
• Sophomore Kimberly Taylor finished eighth in the high jump with a leap of 1.50 meters.
• Martin also claimed a ninth place finish in the long jump with a jump of 4.54 meters.
