- Muskingum's first doubles tandem of sophomore Gracie Andrews and freshman Amanda Plaskett notched an impressive 8-3 win against Kelli Wright and Josie Nichols. The victory marked the first of the season for Andrews and Plaskett and the first career win for Plaskett.
- Muskingum's second doubles team of senior Kayla Hall and freshman Evelyn Pauquette slipped in a tight battle against Rachel Smith and Maggie Haas, 7-5.
- Capital led 2-1 after doubles play.
- Pauquette fell in a back-and-forth match at second singles against Hass, 6-3, 7-5.
- Plaskett slipped at fourth singles against Nichols, 6-3, 6-2.
- Sophomore Jane Boyer rounded the strong Muskie effort at sixth singles against Karen Kanke. Boyer fell in a close match, 6-4, 6-4.
- Capital secured the win by sweeping the singles action.
