• Muskingum's first doubles tandem of sophomore Gracie Andrews and freshman Amanda Plaskett notched an impressive 8-3 win against Kelli Wright and Josie Nichols. The victory marked the first of the season for Andrews and Plaskett and the first career win for Plaskett.
• Muskingum's second doubles team of senior Kayla Hall and freshman Evelyn Pauquette slipped in a tight battle against Rachel Smith and Maggie Haas, 7-5.
• Capital led 2-1 after doubles play.

• Plaskett slipped at fourth singles against Nichols, 6-3, 6-2.
