 The Muskingum women's soccer team fell to Capital on a rainy Wednesday night, 4-0.

How it Happened

  • Capital opened up the scoring at the 10:00-minute mark off a strike from Grace Estes.
  • Capital added two more goals, stretching their lead to 3-0 going into the break. 
  • The Comets capped off their scoring at the 58:49 mark from Catherine Zugaro to secure a 4-0 road victory.

Inside the Numbers

  • Sophomore Jillian Laposky led the Muskie attack with three shots.
  • Freshman Marysa Starcher added two shots to help pace the Muskingum offense.
  • Senior Monique Reil, senior Skyllar Strong, and junior Isabelle Cadogan finished the Muskingum offensive effort by adding one shot apiece.
  • Junior goalkeeper Kelly Buck secured seven saves in 66 minutes of work between the pipes for the Muskies.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Jennafer Roberts snagged three saves in 24 minutes of work in the frame for Muskingum.
  • Grace Estes, Avery Hart, Nicole Ogden, and Catherine Zugaro added one goal apiece to lead the Capital offense.
