How it Happened
- The Comets struck the match's first goal in the 2nd minute from Macy Gorrell.
- Muskingum leveled the score in the 38th minute from a 30-yard blast off the foot of freshman Britney Herrick. The strike was assisted by freshman Hannah Ritchie.
- That concluded the first half of scoring with both squads ending with seven shots each.
- The 53rd minute saw the Muskies jump ahead 2-1 when sophomore Jillian Laposky drilled a shot after a failed Olivet defensive clear landed at her feet.
- Olivet's Mary Mitchell scored the equalizer with three minutes remaining in the contest.
- After a back-and-forth final two minutes and 40 seconds, neither team was able to find the back of the net, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
