The Muskingum women's soccer team dropped their non-conference match vs. Waynesburg, 3-1.

How it Happened
• The Muskies didn't take long to get on the scoreboard with a goal by freshman Morgan Meisel just 54 seconds into the match. The strike was set up by freshman Jillian Laposky's assist.
• However, the Muskie lead didn't last long when Waynesburg's Emily Redman buried a goal in the 4th minute.
• Waynesburg struck again in the 39th minute with a goal by Haley Johnson.
• Waynesburg would eventually carry a 2-1 lead into halftime.
• Haley Johnson opened the second-half scoring with her second goal of the night in the 46th minute.
• Johnson's goal would prove to be the only offense in the second half.
• Laposky, freshman Madison Yenke, and junior Bekah Knight all added three shots for the Muskies.

Inside the Numbers
• The Muskies were led by sophomore Kelly Buck with seven saves.
• The Muskies totaled 16 shots with five being on goal.
• Waynesburg notched 20 shots and 10 were on goal.
• Each team logged three corner kicks.
