Muskingum women's soccer Head Coach Dani Gunderson has announced the selection of the team captains for the 2021 season. Senior defender Alyssa Schneider, senior midfielder Maddie Wirtley, and junior defender Sheridyn Woofter will anchor the Muskie squad this year.

For Schneider and Woofter, this marks the second straight year they have been selected as team captains. Schneider has started 40 games in the past three years and has anchored the Muskie backline. Woofter has started 18 games for the Muskies and has been a strong leader in the back.

Wirtley has started 30 games for the Muskies and looks to be an effective threat for the Muskie offense this upcoming season.

Muskingum opens the season on Wednesday, September 1, hosting Earlham at the North Athletic Turf Field. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
