The Muskingum women's soccer team was stung on Saturday evening at Waynesburg, 1-0.

How It Happened

  • Waynesburg's Emily Hill scored the long goal of the game in the 13th minute off an assist from Sam Nichols.
  • Muskingum nearly tied the contest in the 89th minute on a shot from junior Rachael Waite that hit the crossbar and appeared to cross the goal line - but the officials ruled the ball didn't break the plane of the goal.
  • Muskie sophomore Jasmine Love started the game in frame and played the opening 47 minutes. Freshman Katie Bodenmiller played the final 43 minutes in goal.
  • Courtney Syfert played all 90 minutes for the Yellow Jackets and made two saves.
