Devine registers first career hat trick to lead Women's Soccer past Pikeville

Muskingum freshman Autumn Devine registered her first career hat trick to lead the Muskies to an impressive 3-1 victory against Pikeville on Thursday evening in McConagha Stadium.

How It Happened

  • Muskingum freshman Autumn Devine led the way with her first career hat trick. Her first strike came 14 seconds into the contest when she netted the opening kick-off from senior Morgan Price. The freshman completed the trifecta with goals in the 15th minute and 17th minute. The hat trick was the first for the Muskies since the 2007 season.
  • Price finished the contest with two assists.
  • Junior Natalie O'Dell and Price both finished with three shots each.
  • The Muskies finished the contest with a game-high 18 shots, seven on goal.
  • The Bears were led by Paulina Ruiz with one goal.
  • Pikeville took 16 shots, 11 on frame.

Between the Pipes

  • Senior Liz Mitchell collected the win for the Muskies logging 72 minutes of work with seven saves. Sophomore Heather Maxwell recorded 18 minutes in frame, making three saves.
  • Bryanna Schroers started for Pikeville playing 81 minutes with four saves. Moreka Buchanan saw nine minutes of action.
