DeHainaut leads wrestling at NCAA Regionals

Senior Noah DeHainaut finished 2-2 to lead the Muskingum wrestling team at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Case Western Reserve.

The Basics

  • The two-day event was hosted by Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio.
  • Muskingum finished 20th out of 20 teams.
  • The event concludes the 2022-23 season for Muskingum.

On the Mat

  • Muskingum was led by senior Noah DeHainaut who finished 2-2 in the 285-pound weight class. After falling in his first prelim match by decision, DeHainaut picked up a 4-1 win in his second prelim match. DeHainaut continued his momentum with a 3-0 win in the first round of the consolation bracket before losing via fall in round two.
  • Senior Tanner Donathan also picked up one win for the Muskies in the 149-pound weight class. Donathan earned his win in the first round of the championship bracket with a 10-4 decision victory.
