Wrestling hosts Heidelberg for Muskie Pride Match

The Muskingum wrestling team hosted OAC-foe Heidelberg on Tuesday night for their annual Muskie Pride Match. 

The Basics

  • Records: Muskingum (4-4 Overall, 1-2 OAC), Heidelberg (3-4 Overall, 1-2 OAC)
  • Location: Steele Center – New Concord, Ohio
  • Attendance: 286

Notables

  • The event was promoted as a Muskie Pride Match sponsored by Muskingum's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

On the Mat

  • The Muskies were led by seniors Tanner Donathan and Noah DeHainaut who both picked up major decision wins in their respective weight classes. Donathan earned his 10-2 win in the 149-pound weight class, while DeHainaut picked up a 10-2 win in the 197-pound weight.
  • Also wrestling strong for Muskingum was senior Hunter Heck. Heck tallied a 9-6 decision win in the 125-pound weight class for the Muskies.
