Senior Carter Layton and freshman Andrew McFee led the way as the Muskingum wrestling team competed at the annual Wheaton Invitational.
The Basics
- Location: Chrouser Sports Complex – Wheaton, Ill.
- The Muskies finished 29th out of 30 teams
- Wisconsin-Eau Claire won the team title
On the Mat
- The Muskies were led by senior Carter Layton who finished 1-2 at the event. Layton earned his win via fall.
- Freshman Andrew McFee also finished 1-2 on the weekend. McFee's win came via decision.
Up Next
- The Muskies will be back in action on Tuesday, February 8 when they travel to take on Otterbein in an OAC-dual match. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
