The Muskingum wrestling team competed at the Case Western tri-match Saturday afternoon dropping matches against Wash. & Jeff. and Case Western.
The Basics
- Records: Muskingum (3-6 overall), Wash. & Jeff. (5-3 overall), Case Western (2-3 overall)
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio - Veale Field House
On the Mat
- In the contest with Washington & Jefferson, sophomore Tanner Walker led the way winning the 165-pound bout via fall in a time of 1:50 giving the Muskies the 18-12 advantage.
- Wash. & Jeff. went on to win the match 32-18.
- In the match with Case Western, sophomore Jordan Burkholder claimed the 125-pound weight class over Jacob Frisch by major decision.
- Walker continued to find success on the mat as he defeated Connor Gordon by technical fall, 18-0.
- Junior Anthony Cole-Young closed out the match for Muskingum winning the 184-pound class by way of technical fall.
- Case Western claimed the match 28-14.
