Three Muskies score two goals as Women's Lacrosse slips to Ohio Northern

The Muskingum women's lacrosse team slipped in a road contest against Ohio Northern by a score of 20-7. Senior Riley Hudock, senior Kenzie Bicking, and junior Maria Decaminada each tallied two goals for Muskingum.

  • The Muskies recorded seven goals, four assists, 16 ground balls, and  16 draw controls.
  • Bicking led the Muskies with two goals and one assist in the contest. Bicking added one ground ball and one draw control.
  • Hudock and Decaminada each added two goals to the Muskie offense. Hudock finished with six draw controls and two ground balls while Decaminada threw in three draw controls and two ground balls.
  • Senior Megan Lang scored once and dished out an assist. Lang also grabbed one ground ball.
  • Graduate student Hannah Heyboer and senior Haley Clifton each had one assist.
  • Also contributing was senior Riley Zwagerman who had two draw controls, senior Zoe Ballard who logged three ground balls, senior Kennedy Norch who snagged two ground balls, junior Kasi Tully who recorded three ground balls and two draw controls, and sophomore Amanda Charness who had one ground ball and one draw control.
  • Decaminada, Hudock, and junior Ella Duling each finished with two caused turnovers. Charness, Norch, and Ballard each had one caused turnover.
  • Sophomore Malena Brady earned the start in goal and tallied six saves and one ground ball.
  • Freshman Olivia Rosenthal-Parry earned time in goal for the Muskies.
  • Ohio Northern recorded 20 goals, six assists, 15 draw controls, 27 ground balls, and 11 saves.
  • The Polar Bears were led by Emma Hoersten who scored five goals and had one assist.

  • Muskingum will be back in action on Saturday, April 12, when they take on John Carroll at home. The OAC contest is slated to start at 5:30 p.m.
