The Muskingum women's lacrosse team opened their season hosting Kalamazoo at the Bullock Health & Wellness Complex on Saturday afternoon. The Muskies dropped their home/season opener to the Hornets, 18-9.

- The contest marked the first lacrosse game played at the Bullock Health and Wellness Complex.
- The contest also marked the season/home opener for the Muskies.
Inside the Numbers
- Muskingum was led by sophomore Riley Hudock who tallied a team-best four goals, one assist, five ground balls, and four draw controls.
- Sophomore Riley Zwagerman and sophomore Megan Lang each added two goals apiece for the Muskies. Zwagerman also added five ground balls and four caused turnovers for Muskingum.
- Freshman Maria Decaminada recorded one goal, secured three ground balls, and had three caused turnovers.
- Defensively, freshman Kyleigh Dahlgren recorded 12 saves during 60 minutes of work in the net for the Muskies.
- Kalamazoo was led by Abbie Caza who tallied a game-high seven goals, while Ella Spooner added six.
- Kalamazoo outshot Muskingum 37-23 on the day, while the Muskies were 14-18 on clears.
- Muskingum ended the outing with 23 shots and 24 ground balls.
