Mercuri and Hudock named All-OAC for Women’s Lacrosse

The Ohio Athletic Conference has named Muskingum women's lacrosse freshman defender Anneliese Mercuri Second Team All-OAC and freshman midfielder Riley Hudock Honorable Mention All-OAC for the 2022 season.

Mercuri ended the season ranked second in the conference with a team-best 55 ground balls, and finished third in the OAC and second on the team with 25 caused turnovers.

Hudock led the Muskie attack notching a team-high 41 goals with seven assists, en route to setting a new program record for points in a season with 48. She also registered a team-high 60 draw controls, grabbed 42 ground balls, and had a team-best 27 caused turnovers. This season, Hudock set the program record for goals in a game with nine during Muskingum's dominating 19-8 victory against OAC-foe Heidelberg.

This marks the first time in program history the Muskies have had a player receive All-OAC Second Team honors, and the first time Muskingum has had two student-athletes earn All-OAC accolades in the same season.

All-OAC accolades and awards are voted on by league coaches.
