The Muskingum women's lacrosse team dominated Waynesburg on Wednesday night, 22-14.

- With 22 goals on the night, the Muskies tied the program record for goals scored in a game.
- The Muskies set the program record for most assists in a game with nine.
- The Muskies also set the single game program record with 27 draw controls won.
- Freshman Megan Lang and freshman Riley Hudock both tallied eight goals on the night which sets a new program record for goals scored in a game by a player.
- Lang also set the single game record for most assists in a game with five and most points in a game with 13.
How it Happened
- Both teams came out of the gates hot from the offensive end as there were nine combined goals in the first five minutes of play.
- After the first quarter the Muskies led Waynesburg 10-5.
- Both teams would score five goals each in the second quarter to make the score 15-10 at halftime.
- The third quarter saw the pace settle in and both teams amped up the intensity on the defensive end. After the third period the Muskies led 18-11.
- Behind clutch goals in the final minutes of the game, the Muskies pulled away from Waynesburg and claimed their 22-14 win.
Inside the Numbers
- The Muskies were led by Lang and Hudock who both tallied eight goals apiece. Lang also tallied five assists, while Hudock dished out three assists.
- Freshman Kennedy Norch drilled three goals for Muskingum to go along with one assist.
- Freshman Haley Clifton chipped in two goals for the Muskies, while sophomore Victoria Machado Diaz added one score.
- Norch, sophomore Cailin Wise, and freshman Anneliese Mercuri each led the Muskies with five ground balls apiece.
- Wise also led the muskies with five saves in net for the Muskies.
