The Muskingum women's lacrosse team beat Heidelberg in Ohio Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon, 14-11.

  • Spitz tied her career-high with five goals on seven shots. She also added seven ground balls and caused five turnovers.
  • Clifton and Johnson each registered a career-high four goals. Clifton also recorded three draw controls and caused two turnovers. Johnson caused three turnovers and had two ground balls.
  • Diaz tallied her first career goal on one shot.
  • Sophomore Paige Hannum aided the Muskie effort with five ground balls.
  • Freshman Cailin Wise played all 60 minutes in goal and made 11 saves.

The Difference

  • Muskingum jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first half en route to taking a 6-5 edge into the break.
  • After Heidelberg tied the game at 6-6 early in the second half, Muskingum answered with four straight goals to regain the momentum.
