The Muskingum women's lacrosse team was dealt its first loss of the season at Guilford on Monday evening, 17-2.

• Muskingum ended the outing with eight shots.
• The sophomore tandem of Katie Megery and Kaeleigh Norvet led the Muskies with a goal each.
• Junior Courtney Cole logged a team-high four ground balls. She also caused two turnovers.
• Senior Carissa Myler also aided the defense with two caused turnovers.
• Sophomore Kate Shamel started in goal and played the opening 30 minutes and allowed 14 goals and made eight saves.
• Sophomore Samantha Abrahamsen played the final 30 minutes in goal and allowed three goals and made six saves.
• Guilford grabbed control of the game by scoring the opening five goals en route to taking a 14-2 lead into the break.
• Demming Carlow led Guilford with five goals.
• Guilford ended the contest with 36 shots, 17 goals and eight assists.
