Jurkovic leads Women's Golf to third place finish at Pioneer Classic

The Muskingum women's golf team finished third at the Marietta College Pioneer Classic. Senior Allison Jurkovic shot an 81 on Sunday to tie for sixth in lowest 18 hole score recorded in program history.

The Basics

  • The event was held at Lakeside Golf Club.
  • The Muskies finished the event with a score of 715 (363-352).
  • The Muskies finished third at the event.
  • Otterbein won the tournament with a team score of 623 (320-303).

Notables

  • Senior Allison Jurkovic shot the sixth lowest 18 hole round on day two of the tournament. This is the second time Jurkovic has shot 81 in her career, and she is also tied with Elizabeth Hrach who shot 81 in the 2012-13 campaign.

On The Course

  • Jurkovic finished the two day tournament with a 166 (85-81). She finished tied for ninth in this weekends event.
  • Junior Samantha Miller helped fuel the Muskies with a 176 (91-85). 
  • Junior Madalyn Cutshall added in a 185 (95-90).
  • Senior Morgan Mullaly shot a 191 (95-96).
  • Sophomore Molly Cepek also fired off a 191 (92-99).
