Junior Ericka Marano finished tied for ninth to lead the Muskingum women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Muskingum Spring Invitational on Monday at the Zanesville Country Club.
The Basics
- The event took place at Zanesville Country Club.
- The Muskies finished third out of a five-team field.
- As a team, Muskingum shot a combined team score of 388.
- Otterbein placed first at the event with a score of 336.
On the Course
- Junior Ericka Marano led the Muskies finishing tied for ninth in a 29-golfer field with a score of 88. Marano finished tied for first in par-3 scoring (+1) and 10th in par-5 scoring (+3). She finished tied for fourth in birdies with one and recorded three pars.
- Freshman Allison Jurkovic shot a score of 97 to finish tied for 17th. Juraovic placed 11th in par-4 scoring (+11) and registered a team-best five pars.
- Junior MacKenzie Garber shot a 101 to finish 19th.
- Freshman Morgan Mullaly carded a 102 to place tied for 20th.
- Sophomore Nyoka Clarke shot a 104, placing her tied for 22nd.
- Senior Brittnee Edgar rounded out the Muskie scoring with a 111.
