Senior Brittnee Edgar and freshman Allison Jurkovic tied for eighth to lead the Muskingum women's golf team to a third-place finish at the Muskingum Spring Invitational on Monday at the Zanesville Country Club.
The Basics
- The event took place at Zanesville Country Club.
- The Muskies finished in third out of a four-team field.
- As a team, Muskingum shot a combined team score of 374.
- Ohio Northern placed first at the event with a score of 327.
On the Course
- Senior Brittnee Edgar and Freshman Allison Jurkovic led the Muskies finishing tied for eighth in a 23-golfer field with a score of 91. Edgar and Jurkovic ended the day tied for sixth in par-5 scoring (+4), and each registered five pars to finish tied for seventh in total pars (5).
- Junior Ericka Marano shot a score of 92 to finish 10th. Marano finished tied for third in par-3 scoring (+2) and tied for seventh with five pars.
- Sophomore Nyoka Clarke shot a score of 94 and finished tied for 11th.
- Freshman Morgan Mullaly carded a 100 to place 15th.
- Junior Mackenzie Garber ended rounded out the Muskie effort with a 101 to finish 16th.
