Women's Bowling secures OBC Conference Title with win at OBC #4

The Muskingum women's bowling team dominated the Ohio Bowling Conference #4 tournament by 395 pins to secure the win over the weekend. The Muskies brought in a number of conference awards for their play in the Ohio Bowling Conference this season and as a team secured the Ohio Bowling Conference Title.

Notables

  • Head Coach Doug Smith was awarded the Ohio Bowling Conference Women's Coach of the Year for leading the Muskies this season.
  • Sophomore Tayler Clark was honored with 1st Team All-OBC for her play this season.
  • Junior Elizabeth Springsteen was recognized for her play with 2nd Team All-OBC honors.
  • Senior Kelsey Wilson was awarded Honorable Mention All-OBC. 
  • The Muskies broke the school record for four game Baker set total.
  • The Muskies also broke the school record for 28 game Baker total.

  • Muskingum won the tournament out of the 13 teams competing.
  • As a team, the Muskies knocked down a dominating 5565 total pins at the event. This total was 395 more pins than the next closest team. 
  • This is the second Ohio Bowling Conference tournament that the Muskies have won this season. The first win came at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 in October.
