
The Muskingum women's bowling team stayed at 13th in the latest United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll. The Muskies will take this ranking into their tournament at Kegel Midwest this weekend.
The Muskies this season have won at the DO Apparel/Brunswick, the Ohio Bowling Conference #1, and the Unicorn Classic. The Muskies have also added a runner-up finish at the Muskie Mash and two fourth place finishes at the Ohio Bowling Conference #2 and the Ohio Bowling Conference #3. The Muskies most recent result includes a 10th place finish at the Collegiate Shoot-Out Intercollegiate.
In their most recent trip, the Muskies finished in 10th place at Collegiate Shoot-Out Intercollegiate where junior Elizabeth Springsteen led the Muskies with 960 total pins. On that same trip, the Muskies also finished 17th at the Glenn Carlson Shootout after being led by sophomore Tayler Clark. Also at the Glenn Carlson Shootout, Springsteen set the school record with 278 pins in a game.
So far this season, sophomore Tayler Clark has led the Muskies with a 193 pins average. Clark has placed in the Top 10 at six out of eight events this season, including one first place finish as an individual.
The Muskies will take their ranking into their tournament at the Kegel Midwest this weekend.
