Women's Bowling ranks 18th in NCBCA Coaches Poll

The Muskingum women's bowling team is ranked 18th after receiving a total of 190 points in the first poll of the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association for the 2024-25 bowling season. The NCBCA Coaches' Team Poll is a presentation of the top 20 USBC Collegiate bowling programs determined by the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA).

The Muskies have started their season strong with a number of top finishes. At the top of the resume for the Muskies includes first place finishes at the DO Apparel/Brunswick, the Ohio Bowling Conference #1, and the Unicorn Classic. They have also added a runner-up finish at the Muskie Mash and the Br. Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament. Finishing out their resume is two fourth place finishes at the Ohio Bowling Conference #2 and the Ohio Bowling Conference #3.

The Muskies are a well-balanced team with multiple Muskies leading the team this season. Both senior Kelsey Wilson and sophomore Tayler Clark have led the Muskies twice this season. Junior Lillian Matteson rounded things out by leading the Muskies once. 

Muskingum returns to action on Monday, December 16 when they travel to the Glen Carson Collegiate Shootout at Southpoint for the four day tournament.
