Women's Bowling cracks Top 10 in latest USBC National Poll

The Muskingum women's bowling team has climbed to 9th in the latest United States Bowling Congress (USBC) National Poll following a dominant weekend where they secured their third tournament win of the season.

The women's bowling team is ranked 9th following an incredible performance at both the Unicorn Classic and Br. Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament. Muskingum finished second at the Br. Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament and secured a win at the Unicorn Classic to add to an already impressive resume this season. In addition this season, the Muskies have logged a runner-up finish at the Muskie Mash, a win at the DO Apparel/Brunswick, a win at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1, and a fourth place finish at the Ohio Bowling Conference #2.

In the most recent performances this weekend, junior Lillian Matteson led the Muskies with a fourth place finish as an individual at the Br. Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament. Matteson secured a spot on the All-Tournament team with her play in the event. At the Unicorn Classic, the Muskies won a head-to-head matchup over St. Vincent in rout to winning the tournament with a score of 4516 total pins. 

Muskingum will be back in action on Saturday, November 16 when they will travel to the Columbus Square Bowling Palace for the Ohio Bowling Conference #3.
