Women's Bowling dominates in two events

The Muskingum women's bowling team competed in two events over the weekend. The Muskies had a successful outing with a second place finish at the Br. Patrick Lacey Memorial Tournament and a win at the Unicorn Classic Tournament.

The Basics - Unicorn Classic

  • Muskingum finished first out of 10 teams.
  • As a team, the Muskies tallied a score of 4516 pins over five baker games.
  • The Muskies beat St. Vincent in the position round for first place.

  • Muskingum tallied a toal of 4516 pins through five games. The Muskies five game series went 968, 827, 874, 905, 942.
  • The Muskies secured a head-to-head win over St. Vincent in the position round to earn the outright first place finish at the event.

  • As a team, the Muskies tallied a score of 4422 pins over five games.
  • The Muskies dropped to William Smith in the position round.

  • Junior Lillian Matteson secured a fourth place finish on the All-Tournament Team.

  • Muskingum logged a toal of 4422 pins through five games. The Muskies five game series went 961, 864, 926, 929, 742.
  • The Muskies finished in second place after dropping their head-to-head position round against William Smith.
  • Junior Lillian Matteson finished with an impressive fourth place finish as an individual in the event. Matteson tallied a total of 987 pins with a high game of 244.
  • Freshman Tayler Clark secured a seventh place finish individually after tallying a total of 931 pins. Clark finished with a high game of 198.
  • Senior Kelsey Wilson tallied a total of 861 pins with a high game of 193.
  • Freshman Faith Smith and freshman Hannah Cunningham each played three games for the Muskies. Smith tallied a total of 529 pins and Cunningham added 485 pins. 
  • Junior Elizabeth Springsteen and senior Hailey Yingst rounded out the Muskies with two games a piece. Springsteen finished with 322 total pins and Yingst added 307 pins.
